Soundstream x3 2k43/2/2024 ![]() I'm thinking of getting a 2,400 RMS 4-channel amp, Soundstream X3.2K4 but will probably turn the gains way down on some of the channels (for comp sets), I only need around 1,000 watts or so. I'll definitely post back here once I find out more.The amp is very versatile, plays down to 1-ohm, it would power my whole system, subs up to 600 watts on 1-channel included. They did this with my M4 drive shaft vibration issue and it was eventually resolved. What is also interesting is that if you turn on cruise control, then downshift, the gear change occurs instantaneously. Yes, the colder it gets, I find that the "warmup" period takes longer, and also the time it takes for the car to sit in the garage and go back to "lethargic" mode also shortens. ![]() I did notice after the engine hits normal operating temps I would pull over and restart the car and boom, it goes back to normal. I noticed that it started happening when the weather got a little cooler even though I park in a garage. I am having the same lethargic downshifts that is also intermittent. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? ![]() I'm hoping it may be some sort of vehicle protection mode that is temporarily on after a recent oil change and that it will eventually go back to normal. It does seem to get a bit better (but not perfect) after 10 or 15 minutes or so in the car, but most of my trips are that length, so I am always experiencing it. It makes the car feel like a Buick/Lexus with super slow gear changes and makes me really not want to drive it. ![]() But upshifts happen instantaneously, as normal. It feels as if the car is in "Eco Pro" mode and has the shift harshness set to 1 (even though it is set to 3). The gear number in the display changes instantly, but the actual mechanics of the gear change are heavily delayed. I just got my vehicle back from its annual service and as soon as I drove away, I noticed that when I downshift, instead of it being instantaneous, it takes approximately 1.5 - 2 seconds before the gear change happens.
